Senior Engineering Technician, Cabin Power Electronics

The Senior Engineering Technician role is in Kirkland, WA; compensation is $37.73–$56.60 per hour. The position supports Astronics AES’s Cabin Power Electronics Team, whose EmPower product line provides power solutions for aircraft cabins and flight decks. The technician performs complex hands-on work supporting engineers with electronic systems and product support. The role builds and troubleshoots prototypes and test fixtures, conducts qualification testing, and maintains traceable records to support product development and compliance.

What you'll do

• Test, modify, fabricate, and assemble prototype electromechanical systems and test equipment
• solder boards and components
• build cables
• design and troubleshoot test fixtures
• execute qualification tests
• use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers
• document test procedures, data, and configurations.
