Powder Coat Area Lead – First Shift

The Powder Coat Area Lead role is onsite in Syracuse, IN, on first shift, 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation is not specified. The role supports POLYWOOD’s powder coat production process, which contributes to making durable outdoor furniture. The lead keeps daily operations and communication organized, troubleshoots coating settings, and supports production hands-on when needed. By coordinating parts flow, maintenance, chemical testing, inventory, and shift handoffs, the role helps the team maintain quality and meet production needs.

What you'll do

• Manage production communications and shared tracking sheets
• scan out parts orders and request orders as needed
• troubleshoot powder coating settings
• maintain and clean powder guns, lines, and hooks
• step into hanging, pulling, or coating parts when production needs support
• test washer tank chemicals daily to help meet EPA standards
• coordinate shift handoffs
• monitor supplies
• and track filters and air quality.
