Program Manager, SHINE is an onsite, full-time role in San Diego, CA, with pay of $38–$42 per hour. North County Lifeline’s SHINE program operates under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director and works with the County of San Diego Probation Department and other contractors. The manager leads program staff delivering Functional Family Therapy, provides clinical supervision, and oversees contract compliance and service quality. The role supports trauma-informed, client-driven, and culturally competent care through staff development, quality assurance, program evaluation, and coordination with community and justice-system partners.

What you'll do

• Manage SHINE program compliance with contracts
• provide clinical and administrative supervision to trainees, interns, and licensed staff
• support recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling
• design and supervise behavior analytic interventions
• support adherence to the Functional Family Therapy model and certification requirements
• monitor service and outcome data
• conduct quality assurance through monitoring, surveys, and chart review
• oversee reporting, goals, documentation, billing, and HIPAA training
• coordinate with program partners, Juvenile Court, probation, and law enforcement.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology and California Board of Behavioral Sciences licensure or license eligibility as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. Evening hours are required and may include weekends.
