The role produces and validates accurate musical transcriptions from polyphonic recordings, including separating vocal parts and representing musical details in notation. It contributes to the project by combining music expertise with Python and audio-analysis tools to create technically and musically reliable transcription data.

What you'll do

• Transcribe polyphonic recordings into musical notation
• separate and identify SATB vocal lines
• identify pitches, rhythms, durations, rests, and re-articulations
• apply key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling
• generate and manipulate MusicXML files
• use Python and audio-analysis tools
• validate transcriptions through musical and technical review.
