What you'll do

• Set up and operate diamond-turning machines
• clean and visually inspect lenses
• inspect lenses using metrology equipment
• record inspection and job data
• maintain machines
• inspect and handle diamond tools
• perform vacuum-chuck mounting, spindle balancing, tool setup, and diffractive-surface machining
• and adjust machine settings and program parameters to maintain lens tolerances.
