The Cloud Software Engineer – Level 3 role is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD. Compensation is $90.43–$122.46 per hour. Wyetech supports federal government customers, including mission-critical Intelligence Community operations. The engineer develops, integrates, tests, deploys, and sustains cloud-based software and distributed data applications. The work supports scalable analytics and reliable software systems aligned with customer requirements and mission objectives.

What you'll do

• Research, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance cloud applications
• analyze requirements and resolve software issues
• build distributed data-processing solutions using Java, C, or C++
• develop in UNIX/Linux environments
• work with Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, and distributed NoSQL platforms
• develop RESTful services and data transformations
• create test plans and scripts
• troubleshoot integration and performance issues
• maintain technical documentation and deliverables.
