The role joins Direct Counsel’s Technology Transactions practice, serving technology companies at different stages of growth. The attorney handles complex commercial technology transactions and intellectual property matters, including IP and commercial aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. The role provides practical, business-oriented counsel and collaborates with corporate attorneys and other practice groups on sophisticated matters.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and commercial agreements
• advise technology companies on intellectual property and contractual matters
• counsel emerging-growth and later-stage or public companies
• advise on IP and commercial aspects of M&A and corporate transactions
• conduct contract and IP diligence
• identify legal and commercial risks
• collaborate across practice groups
• provide business-oriented advice
• manage transactional matters and maintain direct client contact.
