Stabilization Specialist — Illinois Crisis Prevention Network

The Stabilization Specialist role is onsite in Melrose Park, IL, with an annual salary range of $50,000–$65,000 depending on degree level and experience. Hope’s Illinois Crisis Prevention Network supports people with developmental disabilities experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges. The specialist provides crisis services and clinical consultation, working with individuals, families, providers, and the clinical team to develop and implement action plans. The work aims to address urgent needs and help individuals remain in their current placements.

What you'll do

• Respond to assigned referrals within 24 hours for first contact and 72 hours for first observation
• provide or model direct crisis services
• document intakes, service summaries, action plans, and case closures
• review data and assess needs with the clinical supervisor and team
• conduct observations in homes and community settings
• coordinate with agencies, schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• train families and providers in behavioral strategies
• maintain records and regulatory compliance.
