Medical Assistant — Pain Management and Regenerative Medicine

Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Annapolis, MD. Compensation is $19–$25 per hour. All Star Pain Management and Regenerative Medicine provides nonoperative spine and musculoskeletal care, interventional pain management, regenerative medicine, and functional medicine services to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and regain quality of life. The assistant supports providers and patients throughout clinic visits and procedures, helping keep care welcoming, organized, and safe. The role combines clinical preparation and documentation with room readiness, follow-up coordination, and routine administrative support.

What you'll do

• Review schedules and prepare records, imaging, and test results for visits
• welcome and room patients
• document vital signs, complaints, medications, allergies, and history in the electronic medical record
• prepare supplies and assist with routine and specialty procedures, including in-office injections
• perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and assigned tasks within training and validated competencies
• clean, stock, and reprocess rooms and equipment
• support follow-up appointments, referrals, scanning, and faxing
• document messages and route clinical concerns
• follow HIPAA and infection-control protocols.
