The Registered Nurse — Emergency Department / Medical-Surgical role is onsite in Wray, CO, with 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Compensation is $50–$55 per hour. This is a 13-week local or travel contract assignment covering Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical services for the hiring organization. The RN provides safe nursing care across both clinical settings, floating between departments as facility needs require. The role assesses patients, develops and implements care plans, monitors responses, documents in Cerner, and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members while adapting to changing acuity.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care in Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical settings
• float between areas as required
• assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and monitor responses
• manage patient needs at an approximate 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• document and communicate using Cerner EMR
• collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• follow clinical, safety, and infection-control practices.

Why this role

Requires an active RN license, current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, prior travel assignment experience, and availability for the full 13-week assignment. Weekend shifts rotate approximately every third weekend; no on-call requirement.
