Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Compensation is $16–$20 per hour. The assistant supports patient visits and clinical operations at White Sands Integrative Medical. The role prepares charts and equipment, assists medical staff with routine care and procedures, and helps patients move through visits. It also supports accurate records, timely test and lab reporting, and clean, ready exam rooms.

What you'll do

• Prepare charts and notes and set up equipment for patient visits
• clean instruments and equipment
• answer phones and identify visit needs
• assist nurses and doctors with basic care and procedures
• complete administrative duties and enter procedures into the EHR
• set up and perform physiotherapy modalities including electric stimulation, ultrasound traction, and lumbar decompression
• escort patients and prepare rooms for the next visit.
