The Construction Estimator – Rail Infrastructure role is primarily onsite in Sacramento, CA, at least four days per week; onsite requirements may change with client needs. The estimator develops and presents cost plans across project design stages, helping clients and project teams understand costs, evaluate design changes, and assess alternatives. The role also supports program-level estimating, cost-model analysis, life-cycle costing, and estimating-team tools and training.

What you'll do

• Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design
• present updated plans at design milestones
• prepare program-level estimates
• coordinate and supervise support staff
• estimate design changes and new technologies
• analyze completed-project cost information
• assess alternatives and value-engineering ideas
• support training on estimating tools and templates
• prepare client leadership presentations
• deliver life-cycle costing models.
