Materials Engineering Intern is an onsite role at Polaris’s product development center in Wyoming, MN. Pay is $24–$32 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime. The internship is a 12-week program in the Materials Engineering and Testing department. The intern contributes to lab capability development through project work, materials testing, and failure analysis. The experience supports engineering development and validation of components and assemblies used in Polaris vehicles.

What you'll do

• Set goals and projects for Materials Engineering and Testing
• lead at least one technology or process development or improvement project
• gain experience in failure analysis, fractography, metallurgical lab work, material characterization, microscopy, mechanical testing, and report writing
• learn non-metallic analysis and vehicle component validation.
