What you'll do

• Perform blood draws and collect other specimens as required
• label, centrifuge, split, freeze, store, and package specimens according to test orders and procedures
• match requisitions to specimen tubes and verify labels
• maintain patient information and manifests
• follow OSHA and DEP regulations
• answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results
• assist with troubleshooting, training, and workflow recommendations.
