What you'll do

• Direct daily field operations for pipeline and underground utility projects
• plan and sequence work
• supervise foremen, operators, laborers, and subcontractors
• oversee pipeline and utility construction activities, excavation, installation, testing, backfill, and restoration
• coordinate utility relocations and connections
• interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, permits, and contract requirements
• coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, inspectors, utility representatives, subcontractors, and owners
• manage site logistics
• monitor progress, production, labor, equipment, and resources
• enforce OSHA, DOT, environmental, excavation, trenching, confined-space, and traffic-control requirements.
