Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator

Job overview

The SMT Operator is an onsite role based in Orange, CA. Compensation is $25.00–$30.00 per hour, supporting a manufacturing team in a 3-month contract assignment. This role exists to operate SMT machinery for electronic component assembly. The operator will adjust machine settings, manage feeders, and ensure the accuracy of board assembly according to blueprints and technical specifications.

What you'll do

• Adjust rotation on machines for component feeders.
• Identify thru-hole vs.
• SMT components.
• Create programs from scratch using BOM and drawings.
• Determine polarity on diodes and LEDs.
• Adjust programs for alignment using fiducials or origin points.
