Infant and Toddler Teacher

The Infant and Toddler Teacher role is onsite in Frederick, MD. Compensation is $17–$20 per hour. The teacher joins the Infant and Toddler educational team at The Goddard School of Urbana (Stone Barn). The role educates and cares for young children by creating a safe, nurturing classroom and using play-based learning to support development. The teacher monitors learning milestones, communicates with families and colleagues, and helps provide a supportive early learning community.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
• teach language, math, science, and social skills through play-based activities
• maintain a safe and inclusive classroom
• provide infant care as needed
• monitor children’s development and learning milestones
• build relationships with students, parents, and staff
• maintain an organized classroom
• administer first aid when necessary
• collaborate with colleagues.
