What you'll do

• Prepare estimates and competitive bids
• review plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents
• perform material and labor takeoffs
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• develop project cost estimates
• coordinate with project managers, field personnel, vendors, and customers
• identify scope gaps, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
• assist with proposals and final pricing
• participate in project turnover
• and maintain estimating records and pricing information.
