The IT Support Specialist role is onsite in Pleasanton, CA, with a base salary range of $80,000–$120,000 per year. Vector Atomic is building quantum technology for navigation, timing, geophysical exploration, and telecommunications; this position supports its IT team and more than 100 employees and 350 endpoints. The role provides hands-on Tier 2/3 support and endpoint administration across primarily Windows systems and a smaller Linux environment. It also helps maintain identity and network infrastructure, security tools, and participation in federal and industry compliance programs.

What you'll do

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows and foundational Linux environments
• deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain devices
• support productivity tools, accounts, authentication, and access controls
• maintain IT documentation and asset records
• assist with directory services, endpoint management, network troubleshooting, infrastructure projects, security hardening, patching, EDR/SIEM, MFA, and compliance evidence collection.
