Roofing Estimator

Job overview

The Roofing Estimator role is onsite in West Palm Beach, FL. Compensation is $90,000–$120,000 per year. The role prepares estimates for commercial and occasional residential roofing projects. The estimator analyzes plans and specifications, develops cost proposals and supporting drawings, and works with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine scopes and budgets. Accurate, code-compliant estimates support timely bids and profitable contracts.

What you'll do

• Prepare roofing project estimates
• review plans, specifications, and drawings
• use Estimating Edge, Bluebeam, and Planswift
• create 2D or 3D AutoCAD drawings
• ensure estimates meet Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County product approval requirements
• collaborate on scopes and budgets
• conduct site visits as needed
• track costs, materials, and labor
• meet bid deadlines. Requires ability to work two Saturdays per month.
