The Toolmaker / Machinist / Wire EDM Apprentice role is onsite in Germantown, WI. Starting pay is $15–$25 per hour based on experience. The apprenticeship supports Gromax’s tooling and die-making work across multiple industries; MRA is a nonprofit employer association that partners with member organizations on hiring. The apprentice learns skilled machining and toolmaking through hands-on work alongside experienced toolmakers. Training in precision tools, machine operation, blueprint reading, inspection, and maintenance supports the production of accurate tooling and parts.

What you'll do

• Learn to build precision tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges
• operate mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire EDM equipment
• learn to read and interpret blueprints
• inspect parts to tight tolerances
• perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• work alongside experienced toolmakers.
