Preschool Lead Teacher

The Preschool Lead Teacher role is onsite in Newton, MA, with hourly pay of $21.00–$27.30. The teacher joins a team of educators supporting children’s growth and development. Under the School Director, the lead teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate curriculum, leads classroom operations, and implements educational programs. The role supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs, including those with Individualized Education Plans, while partnering with families and colleagues.

What you'll do

• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom
• build relationships and communicate with children’s families
• respond to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including implementing IEPs and behavioral support plans as required
• plan, deliver, and document curriculum
• maintain safe supervision and follow safety procedures
• document and report incidents
• follow company policies and licensing standards
• participate in required training, meetings, and professional development.
