Job overview
The Oncology Nurse Navigator role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and requires the candidate to be based in the Dallas, TX, or New York, NY, area. The base salary range is $90,000–$105,000 per year, plus bonus. Lantern connects members with specialty care and provides dedicated care-team support throughout their care journey. The nurse navigator guides members through cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship with individualized education, clinical support, and care coordination. The role helps members and families understand care options, addresses barriers, and coordinates communication among treating providers and Lantern’s multidisciplinary team.
What you'll do
- Manage an active oncology caseload from diagnosis through survivorship
- conduct intake assessments
- educate members and families on diagnoses, treatment options, clinical pathways, and resources using evidence-based guidance
- coordinate communication among members, providers, and the care team
- identify psychosocial, financial, and logistical barriers and connect members with resources
- document interactions
- complete outreach and follow-ups
- participate in call audits, case reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement
- and follow clinical workflows and documentation standards.
