Applications Engineering Technician

The Applications Engineering Technician role is onsite in Clear Lake, WI. Compensation is $20.50 per hour. The technician supports Specialty Coating Systems’ production processes, customer inquiries, and engineering work. The role exists to help maintain process and product quality through inspection, documentation, employee support, and engineering assistance. It contributes to efficient operations by verifying coating records, supporting process improvements, and helping investigate root causes of failures.

What you'll do

• Initiate DCRs and NCMRs as necessary
• approve Certificates of Compliance
• answer production employee questions about customer processes and products
• verify coating thickness and Parylene lot travelers
• prepare parts for engineering runs
• develop masking and demasking methods
• use analytical and measuring equipment
• train production employees on processes
• handle customer inquiries
• assist engineers with root-cause failure analysis.
