The coordinator helps maintain caregiver staffing and supports daily care operations under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and Registered Nurse. The role coordinates schedules and training, assists with resident documentation and service plans, relays health concerns, and helps ensure staff follow community policies and applicable regulations. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call required.

What you'll do

• Create caregiver schedules
• assist with staff in-services, reviews, recruiting, hiring, termination, supervision, and training
• support quality service by caregivers
• participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• prepare medication administration records for DON review
• document delegated tasks according to regulations and the Nurse Practice Act
• handle medication reminders and administrations delegated by the RN/DON
• provide input on assessments and service plans
• report resident health concerns
• monitor PPE use
• complete incident reports
• relay medical information between shifts
• fill in for resident associates or caregivers when needed.
