The Merchandise Assistant — Junior role is hybrid in Framingham, MA, with two onsite days per week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Pay is $23.00–$24.50 per hour. The role supports buyers and an assistant vice president, Merchandise Manager, at a Fortune 100 off-price retail organization with more than 5,200 stores across ten countries. The assistant supports merchandising operations by preparing and tracking purchase orders, communicating with vendors, following up on shipments, and coordinating merchant travel and vendor visits. Accurate records and timely follow-through help buyers and merchants manage merchandise flow and day-to-day administrative work.

What you'll do

• Prepare, enter, review, and revise domestic and import purchase orders
• coordinate with Planning & Allocation on timely PO entry
• check ASN/EDI information and contact vendors for missing details
• follow up on late purchase orders and shipment issues
• communicate with vendors about orders and allocations
• organize reports and departmental records
• coordinate travel for merchants and schedule market appointments
• arrange vendor visits
• track and organize merchandise samples
• maintain pre-ticket address information
• complete assigned special projects.
