The Emergency Medical Technician — Basic role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN; pay is $18–$20.50 per hour. Heartland Ambulance is a private Indiana ambulance provider whose mission is to provide high-quality care while supporting patients' healthcare needs. The EMT provides basic life support, emergency treatment, patient assessment and transportation for sick and injured people. Safe, professional care and properly maintained ambulance equipment support the provider's patient-care mission.

What you'll do

• Operate ambulances and company equipment safely
• provide basic life support and emergency medical treatment
• transport sick and injured people
• stock supplies and inspect equipment
• clean and disinfect ambulance interiors and maintain vehicles and assigned areas
• safely lift and transfer patients.
