Job overview

The Cashier / Food Service Worker role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, with varying shifts during operating hours from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, or until midnight at one location. Pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour. The position supports Chartwells’ University of Utah campus food service team. This role helps provide campus dining service by operating the point-of-sale system, assisting with food preparation and catering orders, serving customers, and maintaining clean, stocked stations and serving lines.

What you'll do

• Operate the point-of-sale system and perform cashier duties, maintain cash accuracy and make shift-end deposits, assist with food and catering preparation, serve hot and cold items, clean stations and remove trash, restock and rotate food and supplies, monitor and record food and refrigerator temperatures, and notify cooks when temperatures are outside acceptable limits.

Why this role
