Technician II — Solar Power Plant Operations and Maintenance

Job overview

The Technician II role is onsite in Ennis, TX; compensation is $34.24–$40.28 per hour. NovaSource Power Services provides operations and maintenance and asset-optimization services for renewable energy assets, including solar power plants and battery energy storage systems. The role supports safe, reliable utility-scale photovoltaic plant operations through monitoring, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. It also contributes to plant performance, work-order completion, documentation, and on-site project execution; travel may be required depending on company needs.

What you'll do

• Monitor plant operations through SCADA
• commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC and DC solar PV systems and related equipment
• perform preventive maintenance with supervision
• support installations, commissioning, inspections, and performance testing
• complete work orders and required reports
• verify SCADA site configuration
• follow safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures
• maintain site housekeeping to 5S standards.
