The Apprentice Pool Service Technician role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, with work and training in Arden Hills and customer sites. Pay starts at $24 per hour, with stated wage progression to $24.50 in year two and an end wage of $25. Horizon Commercial Pools’ registered apprenticeship trains the next generation of pool service technicians. Over 24 months, the apprentice learns pool equipment repair, installation, renovation, maintenance, water chemistry, and safe tool use alongside experienced technicians. The role contributes to customer-site service while progressing toward a U.S. Department of Labor Journeyworker credential.

What you'll do

• Work alongside Journey-level Technicians while learning repairs, installations, renovations, and maintenance at customer sites
• develop skills in pool equipment troubleshooting and installation, water chemistry, and safe tool use
• participate in 288 hours of related technical instruction and 50 hours of safety training
• use a company vehicle during the day to travel to job sites
• follow safe operating procedures and work with mentors.
