What you'll do

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment
• supervise children and maintain staff-to-child ratios
• assist with homework and academic support
• plan and lead age-appropriate STEM, arts and crafts, literacy, games, recreation, and enrichment activities
• encourage teamwork, leadership, independence, and positive peer relationships
• maintain a clean classroom
• follow licensing, health, safety, and center policies
• complete attendance and incident documentation
• communicate with families
• collaborate with teachers and administration
• participate in meetings, professional development, and training.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with school-age children in a licensed childcare center or educational setting. CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Recognition, and Communicable Disease certifications are required or must be obtained upon hire; CPL Level 3 or higher is preferred.
