Restoration Technician

The Restoration Technician role is onsite in Downers Grove, IL, serving residential and commercial loss sites in the surrounding area. Pay starts at $18–$20 per hour and is negotiable based on experience. ServiceMaster DSI helps families and businesses recover from fire and water damage. The technician performs restoration and mitigation work, including water extraction, cleaning, light demolition, mold abatement, and fire and smoke damage mitigation. The role supports client recovery by following applicable standards, using restoration equipment, and providing customer service at designated job locations.

What you'll do

• Drive a company vehicle to customer-designated locations
• perform specialty mitigation, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism cleanup, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning
• execute work to applicable regulations and quality standards
• respond to water jobs and initiate mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards
• develop proficiency in fire and water restoration and mold abatement.
