The Dietary Supervisor — Heritage role is onsite in Detroit, MI, for $26–$30 per hour. The position oversees dietary services to meet facility residents’ nutritional needs safely and in a resident-focused manner.

What you'll do

• Develop varied, rotating menus
• order food and preparation supplies
• supervise, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate department staff
• participate in budget development and manage within budget
• ensure food-safety and regulatory compliance
• monitor resident weights and participate in the resident weight committee
• attend meetings, QAPI committee activities, and care conferences
• complete MDS assessments accurately and on time
• and communicate with nursing home staff. Requires current ServSafe certification and Certified Dietary Manager certification or exam eligibility, plus one year of kitchen leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or CCRC.
