The Preschool Teacher, Early Childhood Education role is onsite in Ledgewood, NJ, on a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $18–$19 per hour, based on experience. The Learning Experience - Ledgewood provides an early learning program for preschool children. The teacher leads classroom routines and purposeful play that support children’s early academic, language, social-emotional, and independence skills. The role also supports a safe, organized classroom and strong communication with families and the teaching team.

What you'll do

• Lead daily preschool routines and learning experiences
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• create activities in early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
• encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
• observe development and maintain documentation
• communicate with families
• collaborate with support teachers and center leadership
• maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom
• follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.
