Area Director of Catering Sales

The role also develops client relationships, manages and develops staff, maintains sales data and forecasts, and ensures service, training, and safety standards are followed.

What you'll do

• Achieve catering revenue goals through food, beverage, room rental, and audiovisual sales
• develop client relationships and pursue upselling
• manage catering expenses, labor, budgets, and company assets
• interview, hire, coach, and develop catering sales employees
• ensure client needs and service standards are met
• use sales and catering systems, including Delphi, to document and report sales data
• train catering employees
• support safety and risk-management standards
• attend department and hotel meetings.
