Job overview

The Direct Support Professional (PRN) role is onsite in San Antonio, TX; pay is $10.00 per hour. The Autism Treatment Center’s mission is to support people with autism and related disorders as they learn, play, work, and live in the community. The role supports residents’ daily care, communication, recreation, and service plans in residential treatment settings. It also helps maintain safety, document care and activities, coordinate with families and the community, and support medication-related needs as assigned.

What you'll do

  • Follow center policies and mental health procedures
  • assist with personal care, communication, recreation, housekeeping, and dietary needs
  • assist with self-medication or medication administration
  • support Consumer Service Plans
  • complete medication sheets, incident reports, clinical logs, data collection, and other records
  • liaise with parents or guardians and the community
  • supervise residents during sleeping hours and conduct and document overnight rounds
  • notify the House Manager of unusual events
  • attend required meetings and training
  • maintain medication supplies.
