CNC Programmer II

Job overview

The CNC Programmer II role is onsite in Everett, WA, and pays $40.81–$58.65 per hour. The position supports Jamco’s production and new product introduction work in office and manufacturing environments. The programmer develops, validates, and improves CNC programs and machining processes to support quality, reliability, cycle time, and manufacturability. The role resolves complex machining issues and coordinates with engineering, quality, operations, planning, and shop personnel.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain CNC programs for machining centers, lathes, routers, water jets, and other equipment
• develop CAD/CAM solutions and setup documentation
• interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and 3D CAD data
• lead program prove-out and validation
• troubleshoot machining and programming issues
• optimize toolpaths, setups, and tooling
• review designs for machinability
• maintain production documentation
• support first articles, new product introduction, engineering changes, and corrective actions
• collaborate across teams
• mentor CNC operators and less experienced programmers
• and follow safety, quality, and program-control requirements.
