Direct Care Worker – Community Group Homes

Job overview

The Direct Care Worker role is an onsite, full-time position in Mercer, PA, supporting residents in Flagstar Nursing’s client community group homes. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. Flagstar DCWs provide daily living support and report resident condition information to the House Manager. The role helps residents receive essential personal care and social and emotional support. Workers assist with daily activities, maintain a clean environment, and report resident activity while managing between one and six residents per shift.

What you'll do

• Provide basic care with hygiene, grooming, feeding, supervision of daily activities, and transportation to medical appointments or community events
• manage one to six group home residents per shift
• maintain a clean and healthy environment
• report resident activity daily and provide information about patient condition to the House Manager.
