Substance Abuse Counselor

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling
• support therapeutic care, treatment, and rehabilitation
• coordinate with social agencies, hospitals, clinics, courts, prisons, and managed care organizations
• prepare treatment plans, histories, reports, and records
• assess client needs
• collect urine samples
• maintain a full caseload
• attend staff meetings and special events
• continue supervisor-designated training.
