NETA Technician (Levels I–IV)

The NETA Technician (Levels I–IV) role is onsite in Denver, CO, with work across Colorado. Pay is $41–$60.20 per hour, depending on experience and certification level. Technicians test and maintain electrical power equipment at substations, industrial plants, data centers, and utilities to support reliable infrastructure and safety. The role exists to test, inspect, maintain, and commission medium- and high-voltage equipment, helping ensure installations are ready to energize and potential issues are identified before failures. Level III–IV technicians may lead jobsites, coordinate with customers, and mentor junior technicians.

What you'll do

• Test, inspect, and maintain medium- and high-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and cable
• operate high-voltage test equipment
• commission new installations
• support planned outages and respond to emergency calls
• document test results
• follow NFPA 70E and site safety practices. Level III–IV technicians lead jobsites, coordinate with customers, and mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
