Sales and Estimating Associate, Machinery

The Sales and Estimating Associate, Machinery role is onsite in Elgin, IL. Compensation is $90,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports MBC-Aerosol, which designs and manufactures aerosol filling and packaging machinery for consumer, industrial, and pharmaceutical customers.

What you'll do

• Work with the Sales Manager on business segment strategy and goals
• visit prospective and existing customers
• review customer drawings and specifications
• develop preliminary calculations and drawings
• prepare labor and material estimates and budgetary proposals
• coordinate engineering support
• prepare and submit proposals
• follow up on active proposals
• coordinate order entry and internal processes
• support invoicing
• compare actual costs with estimates
• maintain competitor information
• support product development and attend industry meetings and trade shows as required.

Why this role
