What you'll do

• Review vendor rescheduling and late purchase-order reports
• minimize shortages and production bottlenecks
• serve as a primary contact for production stockouts
• escalate unresolved vendor problems
• manage purchasing shortage reports and notify production of critical shortages
• resolve stockout and production needs
• work with Production Control and Receiving on inventory discrepancies
• provide input to supplier reliability evaluations.
