The Senior Project Manager / Architect, Multifamily & Mixed-Use role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with compensation of $140,000–$160,000 per year. Carrier Johnson + CULTURE creates design-led environments intended to strengthen communities and enrich the human experience. This role leads complex multifamily and mixed-use developments from planning through construction, balancing design quality, technical execution, project performance, and client objectives. It also supports client relationships, team development, and growth of the residential practice.

What you'll do

• Lead project delivery from feasibility and entitlement through design, permitting, construction administration, and closeout
• manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, consultants, and financial performance
• serve as primary client contact
• coordinate multidisciplinary teams and municipal approvals
• oversee construction administration and project risk
• support practice growth, proposals, and repeat business
• mentor project professionals.
