The manager leads manufacturing cost accounting and turns financial and operational data into recommendations that support better decisions and improved performance. The position also develops the Cost Accounting team and strengthens costing, reporting, and control processes.

What you'll do

• Lead product and standard costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing variance analysis, and related reporting
• analyze cost drivers and performance
• partner with Operations and Supply Chain on inventory accuracy, reserves, and financial controls
• develop KPIs, dashboards, models, and analyses
• support close, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial planning
• improve costing methods, systems, reporting, and controls
• and lead, coach, and develop the Cost Accounting team.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; seven or more years of progressive accounting or finance experience in manufacturing, including leadership or supervisory experience; and strong standard costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis knowledge. CMA or CPA is preferred.
