Maintenance Crew Chief

The Maintenance Crew Chief is an onsite role in Aurora, CO, paying $24–$30 per hour. This position is in Heather Gardens Association’s Maintenance Department and is open to current association employees only. The crew chief is a hands-on working lead who performs skilled building maintenance while helping supervise assigned employees. The role supports safe, quality repairs and timely work-order completion across building systems, while responding to resident concerns and participating in the department’s rotating 24-hour on-call schedule.

What you'll do

• Perform structural, carpentry, and roof repairs
• complete plumbing repairs, including line auguring, valve installation and repair, and soldering
• maintain and repair boilers, air handlers, swamp coolers, and HVAC systems
• troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
• perform preventive maintenance
• supervise and train assigned maintenance employees
• inspect completed work for quality and safety
• complete work orders and documentation
• respond to resident inquiries and recommend corrective action
• participate in the rotating 24-hour on-call schedule.
