The role works under the direct supervision of a Captain, Lieutenant, or Acting Officer.

What you'll do

• Respond to alarms and participate in firefighting, hazardous-material remediation, emergency medical, and technical rescue incidents
• operate fire apparatus, pumps, radios, and other equipment
• provide EMT-Basic services
• document incident and patient information
• participate in hydrant maintenance, Quick Access Plans, training, and physical fitness
• maintain stations, apparatus, equipment, and required certifications
• present community safety and fire-prevention programs.
