Job overview
The Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) role is onsite in Terre Haute, IN; compensation is $29–$33 per hour. Hickory Recovery provides acute care for adults with mental health issues and co-occurring disorders. Under the Director of Nursing, the nurse assesses clients, develops care plans, monitors health needs, and supports safe medication management and treatment in a behavioral health and addiction-care setting.
What you'll do
- Perform admission and intake nursing assessments
- evaluate clients’ ongoing medical needs
- conduct CIWA and COWS assessments, pain assessments, point-of-care tests, glucose monitoring, PPD testing, and COVID-19 testing
- administer and document medications
- maintain medication storage and counts
- document client education and suicide-risk responses
- follow admission, discharge, infection-control, and safety procedures.
