The Direct Support Professional, Day Habilitation role is onsite in Queens Village, NY. Compensation is $18 per hour. QSAC’s Day Habilitation program promotes independence and community integration for people with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. The professional provides person-centered support in accordance with established treatment plans, helping individuals build relationships and maintain their health, safety, and emotional well-being. The role also supports community participation through recreational outings and volunteer training opportunities.

What you'll do

• Assist individuals in developing and maintaining relationships
• promote health, safety, and emotional well-being
• provide person-centered support that honors individual preferences and strengths
• implement treatment plans
• transport individuals in agency vehicles as needed
• maintain required certifications
• and report concerns to supervisors.
