Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Tucson, AZ, and pays $17–$18 per hour. The position maintains the physical condition and operational functionality of a multifamily community for Chamberlin & Associates, a property management company. The technician handles work orders, repairs, unit turns, emergency maintenance, and preventive upkeep across building systems. The work supports safe, functional, rent-ready homes and a high-quality resident experience.

What you'll do

• Complete work orders
• troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry issues
• respond to emergency calls, including after-hours on a rotating on-call basis
• assist with inspections and move-in/move-out repairs
• perform preventive maintenance
• maintain pools, mechanical rooms, and common areas
• prepare rent-ready units
• support property projects
• follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines
• communicate professionally with residents.

Why this role

Rotating after-hours on-call duty is required. EPA 608 certification, trade certifications or licenses, Pool Operator Certification, property management software experience, and multifamily maintenance experience are preferred.
