The Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is onsite in Chicago, IL, on the 11 p.m.–7 a.m. shift. Pay is $36–$42 per hour, based on license and experience. The position provides direct nursing care at Alden Lincoln Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. The nurse delivers and documents patient care while supervising nursing assistants and supporting quality care on the unit. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication and treatment administration as ordered, clinical rounds, communication with physicians and families, and compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations.

What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants
• support care planning and participate in care conferences
• conduct rounds and monitor care practices
• document nursing notes, assessments, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• administer medications and treatments as ordered and appropriate
• communicate changes in condition to physicians and families
• coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic services
• report incidents and concerns
• support staff instruction and continuing education.
